Our well driller arrived at 8am today and went to town…. We told him we were going to hit water at 80 ft and it would be crystal clear and in abundance. Out here most wells are 250 ft or better – some even 400 ft and there is a very high iron content in the water so much that your shower walls end up being a tomato red/orange.
Well – Troy hit water at 150 ft – 30 gallons per minute and crystal clear with a touch of iron…..
WOOHOOOO!! I will add some pics later, but this was our turning point toward the positive….
We have been running into quite a bit of walls out here….. But we are moving forward….
I just watched your video on Beyond Off Grid Summit today, and I was wondering if I could get some info on how you set up your water system with the RV pump? We just purchased property in Wyoming that has a well drilled, total off grid, and we are going to build a cabin & do solar also. We are going to have to use a cistern, but when you talked about your well that peaked my interest. Any information would be appreciated, and thank you for your time.

Hi Dee,
So glad you were able to watch the webinar and that you got something from it. Also congrats on your place in WY – I would be happy to share and answer all your questions. My How To Embrace An Off-Grid Lifestyle will be out in roughly 4 weeks and it has all the details in there on the water and how we have things setup. If you subscribe to our newsletter at http://trayerwilderness.com/newsletter you will be the first to know when my book is released and get all the details. There will be other information included that I think will be very helpful to you as well. Blessings and thank you so much for your interest… Tam
PS. If you still have questions after the book I will be more than happy to answer your questions – I have to stay focused to meet my deadline – also feel free to email me at survive@trayerwilderness.com
