It is truly all about the simple pleasures in life.    This one is for you Mom…  Yes – I can go days without a shower…

Last night we were blessed with the wonderful hospitality of some of our new friends Eric and Tracy Berard from church.  An absolutely amazing family.  They offered us into their home and may I say GOD BLESS them because after 6 days without a shower we were not the best smelling crew!!!

Because of the change in the weather and the lower temperatures that came our way about 2 to 3 weeks ago, a shower at camp is now a thing of the past until everything is in place in the house.  Our water barrels and the 275 gallon tank that will be used in the house needed to be drained…  We were concerned about them cracking and the 275 gallon tank will be used in the house so we really needed to extra special care of that….

We are in an amazingly beautiful place and right now our main focus is getting all the work done so who cares if you stink if the guys next to you stinks too maybe even worse..

It is what it is and the experience out here is just amazing…  Besides if Glen and I ever head to the deeper unknown – there won’t be a shower…
