A lot of hot stuff you canned. I wouldn’t be able to handle that much hot stuff!
Praying that you get rain soon!
For as much as I hate that you’re going thru this, I absolutely loved you sharing what you were doing to be prepared for the fires. Really got me thinking about things that I still need to do, like get a binder together of all the important papers.
And about a few things that still need to be added to our packs.
Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers that your family stays safe and your property unharmed.
Wildfire preparedness is so important and I am glad you are addressing it.
So far we have been very lucky that the fires haven’t been near us. Not only
do I have important papers in a fireproof file but I have made a quick list
which I keep next to the bed. It is my grab and go list. Medicine, glasses,
sleeping bags, important papers, purse, keys, etc. Also I have been watering
the flower beds and pulling weeds. We have the pasture mowed short to keep
it down. I really wish I had a travel trailer so it could be packed at all times.
Glad you enjoyed this Linda… It is so important to be prepared. Our trailer certainly makes it nice to be able to be fully prepared. Taking those measures ahead of time will remove the stress and processing time out of the equation when focus and speed are required… One thing we need to do as well is just deal with what we have and do the best we can do in those current situations. So glad you took the time to comment… Blessings to you and yours…
