Being I am the Ford girl – I have to have a little fun with the above picture…  We dropped Glen’s truck off about 3 weeks back for repair – Notice the Ford is pulling the GMC…  Smile

Well – the snow started heavy on Monday night and we had to head out an hour from home to pick up Glen’s GMC that was finally getting repaired.  We had to trailer the truck there so we also had to pick up the trailer.  The roads are definitely not taken care of like back in PA so it is nothing to be driving on Highways with 2 or more inches of packed down snow and ice.

When we left on our trip the roads were actually ok – we had negative digits the night before – the colder temperatures actually make for better driving.  Making breakfast was a bit interesting the eggs froze and I had to wait for my breath to leave so I could see what I was stirring.. Smile

Our ride home was a treat though as it started to snow on our way there and we were hitting a lot of white outs.  We needed to go though because the forecast was nothing but LOTS more snow.

We picked up the truck – she is running nicely and headed over to the secure lot to clear off the trailer and hitch her up.  We hit the highway and found that the trailer was wanting to race the truck down the highway.  We had planned and desperately needed to hit Home Depot so we went purchased everything we needed and then spent the night at the Best Western.

Now being we haven’t been able to get showers at camp – we were excited for a hot shower HOWEVER we got into a warm snuggly room with a TV Smile, our take out dinner and that was the end of that….  The hot showers were scheduled for morning… Smile
