We were looking forward to spending our 1st Thanksgiving in our home with our new found friends and neighbors from WA George and Gudrun Stotz. As it was – this did not work out – we were not able to get into our home and George and Gudrun could not make it over the mountains to ID with all the snow…
We were very blessed to have been invited to another group of new found friends – (our realtors of UpRiver Realty) Dale & Debra Hawkins and their family. They have not only sold us an amazing piece of property, but have reached out to us from PA to ID and have made sure we are ok out here. They welcomed us into their home for good food and good company. Austin couldn’t wait to spend our 1st Thanksgiving with friends… Austin has made a lot of GOOD friends out here one of which is Joshua Hawkins.
We have so many things to be thankful for, but this Thanksgiving it was in overabundance…
- Fantastic Family (Momma & Poppa Trayer and Momma & Poppa Klinger have really been there for us)
- Blessed to have each other (Glen has been my knight in shining armor since the day we met)
- Austin booming in leaps & bounds out here
- Our property and location
- Our new home
- The AMAZING community that we have moved into
- All our fantastic friends both new and old
- All the miracles God has performed for us this year – SOOOO Many
- Our church and the people within it (www.FernwoodCommunityBibleChurch.com)
- The simple pleasures in life God shares with us everyday
- Our strength and ambition and desire for a traditional life style
- Glen’s gifts, talents, abilities, knowledge and strength
We thought of everyone on Thanksgiving and would have liked to pop you an email that said so, but all our power was necessary for charging our solar batteries so take this post as a wish to you all that not just on Thanksgiving, but everyday you think and smile with all the things you have to be thankful for…. We love you all…
XOXOXO
PS Momma Trayer – I failed – left the camera in the truck on Thanksgiving and was just so relaxed and enjoying the companies that I did not get any pictures…
But these are our wonderful hosts for Thanksgiving and their family…..
