Today, as we share Thanksgiving Day with new found friends, we have an overabundance of things to be thankful for:
- For good friends and the warmth of their company
- For the beautiful snow
- For my Husband who loves me
- For my Son who views life as I do – Simple Pleasures go a long way
- For Life’s Simplest Pleasures
- For our home that will soon be our refuge and haven of warmth and love
- For Pastor Brian and how he has come to the rescue oh so many times
- For Ed and Janice – for their kindness and generosity and the loaner wood stove
- For Dale and Debra and their family welcoming us at Thanksgiving
- For Troy, Candy and Krissy – offering us to join them for Thanksgiving
- For Buddy & Liz – offering us to join them for Thanksgiving
- God’s continual blessing on my family
My prayer today is of Thanks – God blessed me with a wonderful Son and a man who showed up in my life like a knight in shining armor and how our lives have progressed and we are being guided by God’s grace to this heavenly place and how long before we could have ever imagined he was lining this all up for us. When we hit the road bumps, there is a reason and the outcome is sweeter and more rewarding than any of us could have ever imagined.
